In case you haven’t heard the great news- the Pig & Finch are making their way up to Omaha! As it takes quite a while to walk/ fly from Leawood, KS, we expect this dynamic duo to open their second establishment by the end of 2013. If you’re in the Omaha area, check out the former Ruby Tuesday’s space at One Pacific Place (in the same development as Trader Joe’s) and be teased by our hunger-inducing food photos and menus that will cover the windows during construction.
More updates to come!
The very talented Asa Orrin-Brown captures the vibrant colors of the pristine product that will be found on the 801 FISH menu, creatively driven by Executive Chef Alex Schifman and Sous Chef Kevin Nicholls. Enjoy this sneak peek that will tempt and tantalize your taste buds.
The third concept to the 801 Restaurant Group portfolio will be opening in October of 2013, in Leawood, Kansas. 801 FISH will boast a menu featuring globally sourced jet fresh fish and crustaceans, served in a lively and sophisticated environment. We are ecstatic to be offering unrivaled menu items to the Kansas City metro! An example of the seasonally changing menu, prepared by Executive Alex Schifman and Sous Chef Kevin Nicholls, can be found on the 801 FISH Leawood page.

We had such a fun time taking photos with local photographer Gene Starr, for an upcoming magazine article featuring all of the chefs in the 801 Restaurant Group.
The owner’s dogs, Wallace & Troon, even made an appearance.
We can’t keep this secret from you any longer- John Cedric Smith is returning to the 801 Restaurant Group to lead the Pig & Finch Leawood team as Executive Chef! How do we celebrate? A photo shoot with Asa Orin-Brown of course. Sous Chef Linzi Weilert and Line Cook Bryant Myers showed off their mad culinary skills during lunch service as well. Enjoy!
